How do I change my account email address?

PhotosShoot currently does not support directly changing your account email address from within the settings. However, you can transfer your subscription to a new email by following these steps.

Option 1: Create a new account (Recommended)

1. Cancel your current subscription via Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription

  • Wait for your current billing period to end (or request a refund if within 14 days)

  • Create a new account using your preferred email address

  • Retrain your AI models on the new account (your model data doesn't transfer automatically)

  • Subscribe on the new account

    Option 2: Contact support for account migration

    In some cases, the PhotosShoot team can assist with migrating your subscription to a new email:

  • Email support@photosshoot.com from both your old and new email addresses

  • Include your account details and reason for the change

  • The team will assess whether a migration is possible and guide you through the process

    Things to note:

  • Generated photos are stored per account and cannot be automatically transferred

  • AI models need to be retrained on the new account

  • Subscription history stays with the original account for billing records

    Why can't I just change it in settings? Email is used as the unique identifier for login. Changing it requires careful verification to prevent account takeovers. We're working on adding self-serve email change functionality.
