I used the wrong card and want to switch

It happens — you signed up or renewed using a card you didn't intend to use. PhotosShoot makes it easy to resolve this.

Step 1: Self-refund via Stripe

PhotosShoot payments are processed through Stripe. In many cases, you can request a refund directly:

1. Go to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription in your PhotosShoot account

  • In the Stripe portal, look for the recent charge under Invoices

  • Select the invoice and use the Refund option if available

  • The refund will return to the original card within 3–5 business days

    Step 2: Update your payment method

    After the refund, update your card:

  • In the Stripe billing portal, go to Payment Methods

  • Add your correct card

  • Set it as the default payment method

  • Remove the old card if needed

    Step 3: Re-subscribe

    Once your payment method is updated, re-subscribe to your preferred plan from Settings → Billing.

    If the self-refund option isn't available: Contact support at support@photosshoot.com with your account email and the charge details. We'll process the refund manually and help you update your payment method.

    There's no penalty for switching cards and we're happy to make this as smooth as possible.
